Hey Yall : )
My name is Samantha Lum but everyone calls me Sam. I am going to turn 21 while we are in Africa on May 31. And there is no better way that i can think of spending my birthday than in Swaziland : ). I live in Suwanee, Georgia. I am very outgoing and kinda loud. I love being around people whether its one on one or a huge group. I have fun no matter where I am. I love passionate people and deep conversations. If I am going to be alive, then I might as well be incredible. I refuse to simply exist. I have been an athlete my whole life. I played volleyball for the University of Georgia.
I have been a “christian” my whole life but in the past two years I have really taken on this faith to a different level as my own personal choice. I believe that Christianity is not a religion, it’s a relationship. I have a personal intimate relationship with God. I love our God. He is so loving and so amazing. I cannot wait to experience what He has in store for us in Swaziland.
I am an extremely family oriented girl. I am very close with both my mother and my father. My little sister, Shelby, is my best friend and my little brother, Cody, is one of the closest things to my heart. I wouldn’t be anywhere without them.
