Sarah here, reporting to you all the way from Bermuda, yes the island. I was born on December 21st 1989, but I was born again in 1996, at the tender age of 7. Since then my life hasn’t been all peaches and cupcakes, (yuck, who puts peaches and cupcakes together?) I have battled with sin, both big and small, but it is these hurdles in my life that have drawn me closer to Him, and allowed me to witness His sovereignty, grace, and ultimate power. He has done so much for me, that I can not find any reason why I wouldn’t choose to devote everyday to Him!
I like to think of myself as a quiet person, but once you get to know me, you’ll realize that is truly the polar opposite of who I am… which is loud. I love to laugh, even when the laughing brings water to my eyes. Music is a huge part of my life, I love playing the guitar, but there is something unusually freeing about singing at the top of your lungs and not caring who hears. Photography has recently become a current passion of mine, there is something so beautiful about capturing those precious moments, and wherever I go, my camera is usually right there with me.
My family is so very important to me. Without them, I would not know what to do. Whether watching John Piper videos with my Dad, seeking advice from my Mom or simply cracking jokes with my brother. I know that they will always have my back… yo’.
You’ll come to realize that I talk way to much, and in this instance type way too much! I have so much more to say, but I will save that for when we all meet and prepare to travel to Africa. I simply cannot wait to meet all of you, I know that God has big things in store for this trip. 🙂
