Hey everybody!!
My name is Kelsey Menke, and I’m 19 years old. I graduated from high school in June of 2008, but I’m not in college right now because I took a year off to do mission work. This past september, I went to India for three months with Adventures in Mission! My team and I worked in an orphanage and ministered to a leper colony there. It was an absolutely amazing, life-changing experience…I miss all of the little kids so much. I am still kind of getting over my culture shock. Now I am SSOOO excited to see what God has in store for all of us in Swaziland!
In high school, I was really involved in volleyball, yearbook, and my youth group. Right now, I’m working a full time job (ugh) to raise enough money to go on this trip. Once I get back from Swazi, I’ll be going to college at Concordia Irvine in California! Woohoo!! I am PRETTY sure that I eventually want to be a teacher/coach, but I’m a really indecisive person. 🙂 I’m leaving my doors completely open to anything.
I cannot WAIT to meet all of you!
