This is the recipe that Julie gave us to make the cakes for the Timbali Crafts retreat and for the final party at the carepoint. We renamed the recipe to thank Autumn for making all those cakes!
Awesome Autumn’s Swazi Cake
2-1/4 cup all purpose (or cake flour)
1-1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup shortening (butter)
1-1/4 cup milk
3-1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
3 large eggs
Heat oven to 350F (190C). Grease and flour pan.
Bake rectangle 40-45 minutes
Bake 9 inch round 30-35 minutes
Bake 8 inch 20-25 minutes
